Type SOD-123 - similar to 0805
Ideal for replacing series resistors in LED circuits. A constant current flows through the diode regardless of the applied voltage. Simply replace the series resistor with the CRD diode in correct polarity. LED brightness is largely independent of the supply voltage.
The CRDs can be connected in parallel, then the currents add up.
e.g.: Current 15mA = CRD 10 mA connected in parallel with CRD 5 mA
